Bike Path and Halloween
Hi all,
There will be a Public Comment period regarding the NYS’s proposed TOBAY to Captree bike path on Wednesday 10-25 from 4-8pm at the West Bathhouse at Jones Beach; parking is available in Field 4. The proposed bike path would extending the current bike path which terminates at TOBAY to the Captree State Boat Basin.
Also, we are still open and will be for Halloween and that following weekend. The kitchen will close for service and shutdown on Sunday Nov. 1st but the bar will be open through November 5th. After that, it’s countdown to our 2018 season! Have fun, thanks and of course…….Get Some!
Waves!
Man, I don’t remember a stretch of waves like this in a while. It seems like there’s been waves for weeks. And when do we ever get multiple days of off shore wind when it’s warm out? The beach actually grew during the storm somehow…..that’s a great thing. Just a reminder that we’re open daily through Halloween. We are a beach bar and grill located on the beautiful ocean at Gilgo Beach. Babylon residents can buy a season pass, others pay to enter until 5 pm. We are open 7 days a week from 8am to sunset, stop on down for a beer and burger. Enjoy the beautiful beach at Babylon’s Gilgo Beach Town Park.
