“Post Season”

As we zero in on the Labor Day weekend, just a reminder that we’ll be here straight through Halloween. Details to follow about our annual party. Stop in for a cold beer and a hot clam chowder (I figured we’d do Manhattan since we can see the skyline from our deck.)
Don’t forget to stay warm with your own embroidered Gilgo Beach Inn sweatshirt!

My Kind of Weather

Finally, that humidity broke and we have a beautiful day ahead of us with waves and light off shore conditions. I believe the Bunger surf competition is this Saturday, and Byrne Unit, a fan favorite, will be playing this Sunday. Fall will come soon enough folks, hang on to summer as long as you can.

Wiggum

This Sunday Funday will feature the band “Wiggum” for their second show at the GBI. Music starts at 1pm and we will run straight through sunset with cold beer, cocktails, juicy burgers and our famous snap-dogs and fries….
Come down and help us grind through this crazy summer together.

Autumn?

No, it’s still summer for sure; however I wanted to give a heads-up to what’s in store for after Labor Day. The GBI will be open straight through to Halloween. But there’s more; there is no daily parking fee after Labor Day (boats too!) And that means that we welcome back all the friends from OUTSIDE of the Town Of Babylon. September and October have the best weather with low humidity and warm ocean temps. Please stay tuned and keep us in your thoughts if you are out and about the beach.

Tunes @ the Inn

We are frequently asked about live music at the Inn. We’ve been lucky to have 5 bands this season with more to come. Unfortunately, we’ve had to cancel a few due to weather. “Wiggum” is scheduled on Sunday 8/20. “Byrne Unit” is 8/27 and then “Wiggum” again on 9/3…
I’ll keep you posted on future bands and dates.
Tomorrow looks to be great weather, remember, Sunday is fun day!
